This one is rated at 100 lbs of ice in 24 hours into a 25 lb bin. Those two numbers are what decide whether it suits you, and the second is the one people skip. At its rated rate the bin fills in roughly 6.0 hours from empty, and a full bin stops the machine — so the daily figure is a ceiling you only reach if ice is being taken out steadily.

For a home bar or a small café that is usually fine: ice is drawn through the day and the machine keeps up. For a service that empties the bin in one rush — a lunch trade, an event — the bin is the number to buy on, not the output, because the machine cannot make the next 25 lbs any faster than its rating.

Two things worth knowing about every machine in this class. The rated output assumes a cool room and cold supply water; a hot kitchen in August will not hit the number on the box.
